Call for HiLIFE Institute Director now open

HiLIFE Helsinki Institute of Life Science, a recently established research institute within University of Helsinki, is looking for a Director.

HiLIFE draws together areas of existing research excellence in life sciences across the University of Helsinki, further enhancing high quality research, and integrating life science strengths across the University’s campuses.

HiLIFE is currently looking for a Director to lead the Institute strongly through the early and crucial stages of its life, and provide strong, dynamic, innovative and clear leadership to the component units.

“HiLIFE is a major strategic investment of the University of Helsinki and part of its profiling action funded by the Academy of Finland. We are looking for a director capable to foster high-profile basic research as well as to boost the societal impact and innovations within life science”, says Vice-rector Keijo Hämäläinen, the chairman of the HiLIFE board.
